Consortium of Egypt's Petrojet and Enppi wins long-term framework agreement from PDO valued at over $6 billion

In a statement released on Sunday, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum announced that the consortium has become one of four global consortia authorized to bid for and execute projects within PDO's portfolio. This agreement is a key component of Egypt's strategy to support its oil sector companies in expanding overseas operations and increasing engineering and technology exports.

According to the statement, the consortium will support Oman's In-Country Value (ICV) objectives through knowledge transfer, training of Omani engineers, and enhancing the participation of local enterprises and the national supply chain. The statement noted that commitment to advancing ICV goals in the Sultanate of Oman is a core framework of this collaboration. The consortium will transfer knowledge and expertise, cultivate Omani engineering talent, and strengthen the role of local companies and the national supply chain, thereby contributing to sustainable economic development in alignment with Oman Vision 2040.

The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum added that this agreement opens a new chapter in energy cooperation between Egypt and Oman.
