en.Wedoany.com Reported - Exus Renewables North America (Exus) has secured approximately $356 million in construction financing for two wind projects in Pennsylvania, involving the Cambria Wind Farm and the Highland North Wind Farm. KeyBanc Capital Markets, along with other partners, served as the coordinating lead arranger for the transaction.
The Cambria Wind Farm, located in Adams Township, Cambria County, is a repowering project with a capacity of 61.6 MW. It is currently under construction and is expected to commence commercial operations in the fall of 2026. The Highland North Wind Farm, also a repowering project in Cambria County, has a capacity of 75 MW. Both projects utilize Vestas turbines.
Jim Spencer, President and CEO of Exus Renewables North America, stated that the demand for clean energy from data centers and large corporations is accelerating. For strong developers with robust project pipelines and quality partners, capital is available, and this is precisely the type of execution the company excels at.
Andy Redinger, Managing Director and Head of the Utilities, Power, and Renewables Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets, noted that KeyBanc has a long history in Pennsylvania and is pleased to support these projects that expand clean energy generation and create economic opportunities. Highland North and Cambria are high-quality projects, and this financing underscores confidence in Exus and the long-term strength of the renewable energy industry.
These projects expand Exus's footprint in Pennsylvania, where the company already has over 306.9 MW of installed wind capacity, including the completed Twin Ridges Wind Farm in Somerset County, with a capacity of 139.4 MW. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Highland North and Cambria projects is planned for September 2026.
