en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Regional Coordination and Development Commission of the North (Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Norte, CCDR Norte) has extended the bidding deadline for the preparation of the Northern Regional Climate Action Plan (Plano Regional de Ação Climática do Norte, PRAC-NORTE) by one month. The plan also includes the Regional Carbon Neutrality Roadmap for 2050.

According to the procedure notice published in the Official Gazette (Diário da República) this Monday, the bid submission deadline has been adjusted from August 1 to August 31, while the base price of €373,000 and other tender conditions remain unchanged.
The contract, expected to be executed over 15 months and co-financed by EU funds, aims to develop a regional strategy for greenhouse gas emission reduction and climate change adaptation covering the period up to 2050, also including the Regional Carbon Neutrality Roadmap for 2050.
According to the Guidelines for Regional Climate Action Plans issued by the Portuguese Environment Agency (Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente, APA), these regional plans were originally scheduled for completion in 2024. They must set emission reduction targets and indicators at the regional level, define preparedness and response measures for climate change, and propose actions to be taken along with related investments.
The tender is not divided into lots or negotiation phases. The evaluation uses a multi-criteria model that comprehensively assesses technical quality, team experience, and price.
