en.Wedoany.com Reported - HydroGraph Clean Power Inc., based in Canada, announced that its U.S. subsidiary, HydroGraph USA Inc., has signed a definitive agreement with Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. to secure long-term supply of acetylene gas and lease land in Bellville, Texas, for the construction of its first large-scale graphene production facility in the United States.

The new facility will produce HydroGraph's flagship product, Fractal Graphene. Characterized by 99.8% carbon content, consistent fractal morphology, and batch stability, the product is intended to supply customers in industries such as composites, coatings, and energy storage.

HydroGraph is also installing three reactors at its newly opened U.S. headquarters in Austin, Texas, for development purposes. The reactors at the Austin headquarters are expected to achieve a total annual production capacity of 30 tons by September 2026, preceded by construction projects focused on acetylene storage and other improvements.

Under the acetylene purchase agreement, HydroGraph USA will purchase acetylene directly from Western International via pipeline for its Bellville facility, with an initial term of 10 years and an option to renew. Acetylene is the primary feedstock for HydroGraph's Hyperion Reactors, which convert hydrocarbon feedstock into ultra-pure synthetic fractal graphene products through an efficient continuous manufacturing process.

Simultaneously, the parties have entered into a ground lease agreement granting HydroGraph USA a long-term lease on land at Western International's facility in Bellville, Texas. The site will be used to build HydroGraph's new commercial-scale graphene manufacturing facility. Construction of the Texas facility is expected to commence after obtaining permits and site preparation, with a target to begin production in the first half of 2027. Initial capacity is 360 tons, with potential expansion to 750 tons per year.

The Bellville facility will leverage Western International's comprehensive acetylene production, storage, transportation, and distribution infrastructure, including a dedicated pipeline connection to directly supply feedstock to HydroGraph's manufacturing operations. This co-location configuration is designed to support safe, reliable, and continuous production while reducing transportation complexity and supply chain risks.

Kjirstin Breure, CEO of HydroGraph Clean Power Inc., stated: "The execution of these agreements marks a significant milestone in HydroGraph's production and supply chain strategy, aimed at meeting the anticipated demand for ultra-pure graphene materials from global corporate and government counterparties. Western International, as the largest acetylene supplier in the U.S. wholesale market, is uniquely positioned to partner with HydroGraph. Their extensive production, storage, transportation, and distribution infrastructure provides the secure, reliable, and continuous feedstock supply needed to support large-scale graphene manufacturing."

Prior to commercial production, HydroGraph has been expanding its network of qualified HydroGraph composite partners. The latest partner is Midland Compounding & Consulting. HydroGraph had previously signed an agreement with Modern Dispersions, based in Leominster, Massachusetts.
