en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 20, with the completion of concrete pouring for the final box girder, the Shangshui Beam Yard of the Pingdingshan-Luohe-Zhoukou High-Speed Railway successfully finished the prefabrication of all 1,030 box girders, marking the conclusion of the beam prefabrication phase. Since the start of construction, the beam yard has adopted standardized, intelligent, and refined construction practices, scientifically planned production schedules, and dynamically adjusted resource allocation. Overcoming multiple challenges such as high temperatures, rainy seasons, and complex material transportation, the yard maintained a high daily production capacity, achieving a maximum single-day output of five girders and completing the milestone ahead of schedule.

During the prefabrication process, the project team strictly controlled key stages including raw material inspection, mix ratio optimization, steel bar binding, formwork installation, concrete pouring, and curing. They fully implemented a three-tier inspection acceptance system and image-based traceability management to ensure the quality of each box girder met standards. The beam yard introduced an intelligent spray curing system, automatic tensioning and grouting equipment, and an information management platform, enabling real-time monitoring of production data and automatic push of quality alerts, leveraging technology to enhance prefabrication efficiency and quality stability.

Safety management was integrated throughout the entire prefabrication cycle. The beam yard adhered to daily pre-shift safety briefings and weekly special hazard inspections, strictly enforced leadership duty systems and hazardous operation approval procedures, and regularly conducted emergency drills for heatstroke and electric shock. On-site emergency material storage points were established. For process coordination, a "prefabrication, transport, and erection" linkage scheduling mechanism was implemented, with advance coordination with the girder erection zone to align needs, rational planning of storage yard layout and girder retrieval sequence, achieving seamless integration between prefabrication and erection, reducing secondary handling, and improving overall construction efficiency.

The beam yard received commendation from the project owner for its high-quality performance. The project's completion was covered by media outlets including Xinhua News Agency, China Daily, Henan Daily, and China Construction Network, fully demonstrating the high-quality construction achievements. In the next phase, the project will focus on advancing the erection of box girders for the remaining Sections 6 and 8, as well as bridge deck construction, ensuring the overall target of "prefabrication, transport, and erection" for all 1,030 box girders is completed on schedule.
