en.Wedoany.com Reported - Gladiator Metals has obtained high-grade copper-gold-silver mineralization from drilling at its Whitehorse project in Canada's Yukon Territory, with hole BCG-035 intersecting 32 meters grading 1.36% copper, extending the high-grade strike continuity of the Cub target to over 300 meters.

Gladiator reported Wednesday that highlight hole BCG-035 intersected 32 meters grading 1.36% copper, 0.63 grams per tonne gold, and 10.93 grams per tonne silver from a depth of 178 meters, including 18 meters grading 2.12% copper, 1.06 grams per tonne gold, and 16.33 grams per tonne silver. Another hole, BCG-024, returned 32.7 meters grading 1.06% copper, 0.44 grams per tonne gold, and 6.37 grams per tonne silver from 176.73 meters, including 7.3 meters grading 2.47% copper, 1.45 grams per tonne gold, and 15.09 grams per tonne silver.

Cub East is Gladiator's latest discovery in the historic Whitehorse copper belt. Last month, asset management firm BlackRock provided Gladiator with $35 million in exploration investment. The company's CEO, Jason Bontempo, stated that Cub East continues to deliver results expected from a rapidly emerging copper-gold-silver discovery.

Other notable assay results came from hole BCG-030, which returned 38 meters grading 1.2% copper, 0.43 grams per tonne gold, and 10.29 grams per tonne silver from a depth of 168 meters, including 15.1 meters grading 2.41% copper, 0.93 grams per tonne gold, and 18.85 grams per tonne silver.

Gladiator has completed 18 holes totaling 5,406 meters at Cub East. The drill rig targeted a 900-meter-long coincident gravity and induced polarization geophysical anomaly. Results are delineating a strongly mineralized core zone bounded by inferred faults to the east and west. To the east, the system is interpreted to step down, while to the west it may connect to the previously mined Black Cub South open pit.

Bontempo said the company is conducting resource definition drilling at the Cowley target and plans to increase drilling to over 50,000 meters across the entire Whitehorse project. According to data from the Yukon Geological Survey cited by Gladiator, the region's main production period lasted from 1967 to 1982, processing 11.1 million tonnes of ore and producing 267.5 million pounds of copper, 225,000 ounces of gold, and 2.84 million ounces of silver.
