The company stated that these results come from the early exploration stage, with samples taken from visible mineralized outcrops, and cannot be used to estimate mineral resources or represent deposit grades.
The project covers over 27,000 hectares and is located in the historic Huemul-Agua Botada mining district. Jaguar is advancing the project through a phased work plan, including geological, geochemical, and geophysical studies, to provide a foundation for future drill target identification.
The sampling program collected a total of 200 samples, including 188 rock and channel samples, supplemented by 6 blank samples and 6 duplicate samples for quality assurance and quality control. The work covered the Huemul Min, Agua Botada, Uryco, Rosa, Vega Larga, Zona Negra, Cerro Mirano, and Lucy areas.
Some samples exceeded the laboratory's upper detection limit of 25,000 ppm for uranium and copper; these samples will undergo new analytical procedures to determine final values. Additionally, the report shows values of up to 708 g/t silver and 1.27% vanadium, with multiple areas exhibiting high uranium and copper concentrations.
The company emphasized that the released information is technical in nature, and selective surface sampling targeted visible mineralized outcrops and other priority areas. The results can confirm the presence of surface mineralization and guide the next phase of exploration, but do not represent average deposit grades and cannot determine mineralization continuity, tonnage, or mineral resource estimates in accordance with international standards. The Huemul project currently has no resource estimate compliant with NI 43-101.
During the campaign, historical waste rock piles were also sampled, and a possible copper mineralization trend extending approximately 4 kilometers was identified between the Uryco and Rosa areas. This target will be further evaluated in the next phase.
Jaguar's technical program is expected to cost $1.1 million, with an initial timeframe of 12 months, and will include detailed geological mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical studies, drone airborne radiometric surveys, and integration of 3D geological models. The company plans to use this as a basis to identify targets for approximately 2,000 meters of future diamond drilling, initially distributed across ten drill holes, along with trenching and verification work. Progress in this phase must comply with the environmental and technical requirements stipulated in the Environmental Impact Statement.
The Huemul project area is the site of Argentina's first uranium mine, which was operated by the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) from 1955 to 1975. Jaguar stated that observations are consistent with the historical context of the area, but these records have not been verified according to modern exploration standards and do not constitute current technical information characterizing the deposit.
Initial analysis results are available, but samples exceeding detection limits still require re-analysis. The program will begin integrating geochemical, geological, and geophysical information to identify the next exploration targets for the project.
