en.Wedoany.com Reported - Schneider Electric has upgraded its Level 2 commercial electric vehicle charger, the Schneider Charge Pro, adding multiple new features designed to help property owners and operators in the US deploy, manage, and scale EV charging infrastructure more efficiently. This upgrade comes as commercial property owners and fleet operators face growing demand for EV charging, alongside increasing pressure on power supply, infrastructure, and energy costs.

The Schneider Electric Charge Pro commercial EV charger supports multiple applications, including multi-unit dwellings, workplaces, fleet operations, and public charging stations, with integrated software and services designed to improve uptime and simplify operations.

Designed for applications such as multi-unit dwellings (MUDs), workplaces, public and destination charging stations, and fleet operations, the Charge Pro integrates hardware, software, and services to reduce deployment complexity, improve uptime, and more efficiently scale infrastructure across sites. The charger combines hardware with EV Connect Software+™, a cloud-based charging station management system, enabling site owners to monitor performance, manage access, and monetize charging stations across multiple locations. Activation includes a one-year subscription to EV Connect Software+™, along with proactive monitoring and driver support to help ensure reliability. A five-year hardware warranty reduces risk, providing additional protection for owners and operators. These features lower total cost of ownership by streamlining operations, reducing maintenance, and maximizing charger availability.

Shawn Bonacorsi, Director of Electrification Solutions for North America Operations at Schneider Electric, stated that property owners, fleet operators, and workplaces are seeking charging solutions that are easy to deploy and reliable at scale, while prioritizing value that reduces operational complexity and optimizes costs over the long term. The Charge Pro, designed and supported end-to-end by Schneider Electric—from hardware to software and firmware—provides a one-stop integrated solution for reliable operation across sites.

New features simplify the setup, management, and charging process. Built-in charging management software supports remote monitoring, access management, usage tracking, and driver support. A streamlined commissioning process is designed to reduce setup time, helping charging sites go online faster. Drivers can start charging by scanning a QR code, without needing to install an app or register an account. Built on Schneider Electric's cybersecurity best practices, it helps protect charging operations and data. Connector options support J1772 and the North American Charging Standard (NACS), configured up to 80 A to support a wide range of current vehicle models.

The Charge Pro is designed to integrate with Schneider Electric's broader energy management and electrical infrastructure solutions. By connecting EV charging with electrical infrastructure, customers can manage energy demand, balance site loads, and use power more efficiently. The charger also integrates with Schneider Electric's electrical infrastructure product portfolio, including distribution panels, switchgear, and circuit protection solutions. Combined with certified installation partners such as Qmerit, Schneider Electric provides a coordinated approach to deployment and scaling.

Bonacorsi stated that EV charging is becoming a core component of supporting drivers at properties, workplaces, and fleets. The Charge Pro combines hardware, software, and Schneider Electric's electrical expertise to deliver a more streamlined, reliable charging experience and drive energy technology advancements in commercial environments.

The Schneider Charge Pro Level 2 commercial EV charger is available through Schneider Electric's network of distribution partners, installers, and infrastructure integrators.
