en.Wedoany.com Reported - ROK Resources Inc. (TSXV:ROK) (OTCQB:ROKRF) announced on July 31, 2026, that it has completed the previously disclosed disposition of certain non-core assets in Southeast Saskatchewan for cash consideration of C$8.0 million to an unrelated purchaser.

The transaction was subject to an asset purchase and sale agreement dated June 22, 2026, and customary closing adjustments. The Company had previewed this disposition in a news release dated June 23, 2026. ROK stated that this disposition is part of its strategy to optimize its asset portfolio while divesting non-core, predominantly non-operated assets, which helps strengthen its financial position, significantly reduces future asset retirement obligations, and provides additional financial flexibility for high-return development opportunities within its core operating areas, pursuing accretive acquisitions, and evaluating other capital allocation plans that enhance long-term shareholder value.

ROK expects to release its second quarter 2026 financial results and operational update on August 20, 2026.
