Embraer and UAE's Strata Sign MOU for E2 Composite Airframe Structures

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Strata Manufacturing PJSC (Strata), headquartered in Al Ain, UAE, and Embraer, headquartered in São José dos Campos, Brazil, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to evaluate Strata's potential to supply advanced composite airframe structures for Embraer's commercial aircraft programs. Strata is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Co.

The MOU establishes a framework for evaluation, under which the parties will collaborate to assess work packages for the E2 series of commercial jets according to a structured timeline of technical, commercial, and contractual milestones. Additionally, the MOU outlines the parties' mutual intent to explore collaboration opportunities on other Embraer aircraft platforms.

This agreement reinforces Strata's continued expansion in the global aerospace sector, aligns with its strategy to strengthen long-term partnerships with leading aircraft manufacturers, and supports the company's vision of positioning the UAE as a globally competitive advanced aerospace manufacturing hub.
