en.Wedoany.com Reported - Emerald Resources' Dingo Range gold project in Western Australia has been fully approved for development and operations after receiving final engineering approval from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.

This approval marks the last major regulatory milestone for the Dingo Range project, enabling Emerald to accelerate development activities across the site. A 264-person accommodation camp has been installed and commissioned to support development and operations, with on-site works for key project infrastructure also underway.
Long-lead equipment orders have been placed, including for the semi-autogenous grinding mill and crushing circuit. The design of the project's airstrip has been completed, and a preferred contractor has been appointed for its construction.
This follows Emerald's issuance of a letter of award to MACA Mining, designating it as the preferred mining contractor for the Dingo Range project. The proposed contract term is 74 months, with an estimated value of approximately US$562.5 million, covering drill and blast, load and haul, ROM pad feeding, mine development, and ancillary mining services. MACA plans to mobilize its mining fleet to site in December 2026.
During the June quarter, Emerald spent US$6.4 million on Dingo Range development and long-lead equipment, along with an additional US$4.9 million on exploration and feasibility study activities.
The company is currently progressing the initial ore reserve estimate, which will underpin the project's final feasibility study. According to Emerald, this study is nearing completion, with the ore reserve, updated development schedule, and overall project timeline expected to be announced in the near term.
The above work is based on the January 2026 mineral resource estimate for Dingo Range: 40.9 million tonnes at 1.1 g/t gold for 1.41 million ounces, including a higher-grade component of 24.2 million tonnes at 1.4 g/t for 1.12 million ounces. The resource spans 11.4 kilometers, encompassing the Boundary-to-Bungarra mineralized trend, the Great Northern, and Freeman's Find deposits.
During the quarter, Emerald continued infill and extensional drilling at Dingo Range, completing 433 holes for a total of 23,273 meters. Results from the Boundary deposit include 11 meters at 18.35 g/t gold from 181 meters, including 2 meters at 98.60 g/t; and 7 meters at 24.83 g/t gold from 204 meters, including 1 meter at 166 g/t. These results further confirm the continuity of mineralization within the existing open-pit resource while enhancing the project's future underground development potential. Infill and extensional drilling will continue at Boundary and Great Northern, with new results to support further updates to the mineral resource and the upcoming maiden ore reserve.
