en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hapag-Lloyd has announced a freight rate increase on routes from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh to Europe and the Mediterranean, with an additional surcharge of $1,000 per container for affected cargo.


According to the route adjustment details published on the company's website, the surcharge applies to 20-foot and 40-foot containers shipped from the ports of Nhava Sheva, Mundra, and Ennore in India, Port Qasim in Pakistan, and Chittagong Port in Bangladesh to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, or the Black Sea.
The above freight adjustment takes effect from September 1 this year.
