en.Wedoany.com Reported - Investment firm Royal London Asset Management Property (RLAMP) has submitted an outline planning application for Brackmills Logistics Park, proposing up to 1.26 million square feet of industrial and logistics space in Northampton, with an estimated gross development value of £340 million.

£340m Golden Triangle development plans submitted — set to 'create significant job opportunities in a highly established distribution location'

The site, located within the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton, spans 54 acres and sits in an established logistics destination in the East Midlands. The project will become one of RLAMP's largest logistics developments to date and marks the next phase following the company's acquisition of the site from Coca-Cola in September 2025. Under the proposals, the park will feature two large units designed to accommodate the needs of different tenants.

Will Edwards, Fund Manager of the RLPPF portfolio at RLAMP, said that submitting this application following the completion of the acquisition last year represents a significant milestone in the project's progression; the electricity allocation for the site was secured earlier this year. He noted that opportunities of this scale and prominence are rare within the UK's logistics Golden Triangle, and that the site offers the connectivity, labour access, and spatial flexibility required by modern logistics tenants.

Edwards stated that the scheme could deliver up to 1.26 million square feet of industrial and logistics space, with the potential to create significant job opportunities in a highly established distribution location, while supporting the company's strategy of generating long-term value for investors through building a high-quality industrial and logistics portfolio. RLAMP currently has £3.5 billion invested in industrial and logistics assets across the UK.
