Spanish SUD Renovables completes 5.19 MWp photovoltaic plant

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Catalan photovoltaic installation company SUD Renovables has built a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant in Vila-rodona, in the Alt Camp county of Tarragona, which has been connected to the grid and will generate electricity for local supply.

In terms of operating parameters, the plant has a peak power of 5,193.50 kWp, a rated power of 4,500 kW, and a collector area of 21,582.49 square meters.

For the photovoltaic array, the project uses 7,990 modules of 650 Wp from Chinese brand Longi Solar, arranged in a fixed portrait configuration of two modules, with mounting structures from Asturian manufacturer Alusin Solar's Muniellos 2V system.

According to the Catalan company, the facility is expected to generate 8,103 MWh of renewable electricity annually.

Based on project estimates, this output, calculated at an average annual consumption of 3,500 kWh per household, can cover the electricity needs of more than 2,300 households, serving Vila-rodona and surrounding municipalities.
