en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Siegwerk, a German supplier of packaging printing inks and coatings, disclosed plans to invest more than EUR 300 million over the next five years to advance its "Formula 2030" growth strategy. The funds will be allocated to organic growth, operational efficiency improvements, and targeted acquisitions, covering capacity expansion, production automation, technological capabilities, and digital systems.

In 2025, Siegwerk's annual investment volume exceeded twice its usual annual level. Implemented projects include the acquisition of functional coatings company Allinova, the addition of related coating capacity in India, the launch of a Dubai site, the purchase of land for expansion in Indonesia, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation and expansion of its Bhiwadi plant in India. Upon completion, the plant will increase capacity and enhance automation levels.

The company has also set up inline white ink production facilities in Germany and the United States, expanded warehousing, and deployed customer relationship management and product lifecycle management platforms. In June 2026, Siegwerk completed the acquisition of India's Hi-Tech Inks, and the combined business now holds a market share of over 20% in India's flexible packaging ink market.
