en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dodge will showcase a range of factory-level custom appearance options at this year's Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge event at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan, where the Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen concept will make its public debut. The customization options on display also include new Redeye exterior colors, the Brass Monkey package, the all-new Tinted Dual Stripes, and a preview of the Color Jailbreak custom color program.

The all-new Dodge Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen concept transforms the brand's three-row muscle SUV into a visual statement of power, energy, and attitude.

Dodge CEO Matt McAlear stated that Dodge owners have never been shy about making their vehicles stand out, and Roadkill Nights is the perfect occasion to announce the new factory custom paint program. He emphasized that special paint best showcases the uniqueness of a performance vehicle and expressed a desire to make such customization more accessible than ever, whether through choosing a specific body color or pushing the envelope with caliper, stripe, spoiler color, or two-tone finishes.

The Durango R/T 392 Smokescreen concept features a Smokescreen exterior color with Cryo Blue graphics extending from near the front of the vehicle toward the rear. The design draws inspiration from custom builds by Dodge enthusiasts, with the original R/T 392 badges replaced by "392" graphics integrated into the Cryo Blue accents. The 20x10-inch forged Y-spoke wheels feature a Cryo Blue finish, complemented by amber daytime running lights, Cryo Blue brake calipers and mirror caps, and dark exhaust tips. Inside, the concept features Petrol Blue Laguna leather performance seats with dual silver stitching, along with a suede-wrapped performance steering wheel, suede instrument panel pad, and carbon fiber trim. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine producing 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, paired with standard all-wheel drive, achieving a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.9 seconds, NHRA-certified. Dodge plans to publicly display the concept on August 8 and gather feedback from hardcore enthusiasts on a factory-customized Durango.

Dodge also unveiled for the first time the Tinted Dual Stripes option, a new factory-installed stripe package coming to Durango and Charger that features a tinted, translucent finish allowing the body color to show through, creating a monochromatic effect that shifts with the underlying paint color. The full-length dual stripes run from front to rear, emphasizing the wide stance of both models, and are factory-installed to ensure OEM-quality fit, finish, and durability. A Durango GT HEMI Tow 'n Go in Redeye exterior color and a SIXPACK-powered Dodge Charger in Bludicrous were on site to showcase the stripe package in action.

Dodge is also adding the Redeye exterior color to the 2027 Dodge Durango's color palette, a shade previously announced. Redeye expands the Durango's exterior color options to nine, with the remaining colors including B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Green Machine, Night Moves, Pitch Black, Red Oxide, and White Knuckle, now available for ordering. The display vehicle, a 2027 Dodge Durango GT HEMI Tow 'n Go, features the Redeye exterior paint, Tinted Dual Stripes, and the new Brass Monkey package, which provides 20x10-inch forged Brass Monkey wheels and black fender badges with brass tracer lines for Durango GT HEMI models.

The new Color Jailbreak program is another preview at the event, similar to the custom color options previously offered for the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 and Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, but open to a broader audience. Dodge showcased a 2027 Dodge Charger Scat Pack in Cha Ching Green and a Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak in Toxic Orange at the event to illustrate the program's possibilities. Full details on the Color Jailbreak program will be announced later this year, and show attendees can view high-impact color options on the Dodge Charger color form on site and vote for their favorites.

With a legacy spanning 112 years, the Dodge brand's multi-energy Charger lineup includes the 420-horsepower Charger R/T powered by the SIXPACK engine, the 550-horsepower Charger Scat Pack with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo SIXPACK High Output engine, and the all-electric 670-horsepower Charger Daytona Scat Pack, with all Chargers featuring standard all-wheel drive and available in two-door coupe or four-door sedan configurations. On the SUV side, the 710-horsepower Durango SRT Hellcat is the most powerful gas-powered SUV in brand history, powered by a supercharged HEMI V-8 engine; the Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak unlocks over 14 million potential custom combinations; the Durango R/T 392 offers the highest horsepower per dollar among gas-powered SUVs; and the 360-horsepower 5.7-liter Durango GT HEMI AWD is positioned as the most affordable AWD V-8 in the industry. Customers who purchase a SIXPACK-powered Charger Scat Pack, Charger Daytona Scat Pack, or Durango SRT Hellcat will receive a day of high-performance driving instruction at the Radford Racing School, the official Dodge//SRT high-performance driving school.
