Headquartered in Wellsville, northern Utah, Pisgah specializes in hard rock limestone production, with products used in asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and other construction applications. CRH stated that the acquisition will complement its existing operations in Utah and, as part of the company's long-term strategy in the state, provide additional aggregate reserves.

Pisgah, a local family-owned business operating for over a decade, serves both private and government projects.

Jason Jackson, President of CRH Americas Materials, noted that population growth, economic expansion, and infrastructure investment are underpinning demand in the Utah market.
