en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 9, all procedures of the alkaline washing of Unit 7 of the Luohe Million-Kilowatt Project, undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group Construction Co., Ltd., were successfully completed, laying a solid commissioning foundation for subsequent boiler acid cleaning, aerodynamic field tests, ignition and steam blowing, and even grid connection and power generation.

Since the launch of the "Uniting Efforts, Overcoming Difficulties" labor competition at the end of June, the project department has anchored on the three key milestones of boiler acid cleaning, aerodynamic field tests, and ignition and steam blowing, strictly implemented the "four grasps" work requirements, coordinated the collaborative efforts of all specialties and subcontracting teams, and comprehensively advanced the full-chain work of closing out remaining system works, handing over valve measurement points for commissioning, constructing the wastewater treatment system, and preparing alkaline washing materials.

This alkaline washing covered the steam sides of the condensers of both the main and auxiliary turbines, shaft seal coolers, steam and water sides of high-pressure and low-pressure heaters at all levels, low-pressure heater bypass, condensate heat exchangers for flue gas waste heat utilization, condensate pipelines, deaerator, external steam coolers, medium- and low-pressure feedwater pipelines, feedwater pump recirculation pipelines, desuperheating water pipelines for the superheater and reheater, split economizer, main economizer, downcomers, water walls, water wall outlet pipelines, steam-water separators, storage tanks, and all pipelines of the startup system.

To ensure the conditions for implementing the alkaline washing, the project department established a normalized mechanism of daily inventory checks and nighttime special scheduling meetings, organizing multiple special inventory meetings to identify and address bottlenecks one by one. In response to issues such as the variable frequency drives of low-pressure heater drain pumps, delayed valve delivery, unhanded-over electrical and instrumentation measurement points, delayed flue and air duct cleaning, and delayed compressed air purging, clear responsible entities and completion deadlines were defined, with personnel assigned for 24-hour on-site supervision. For prerequisite processes such as support and hanger installation, insulation handover, individual motor test runs, and PC/MCC power supply, daily tasks were closed out on the same day, and each issue was managed through a closure tracking system.

This alkaline washing thoroughly removed rust, oil, and impurities from the internal water-steam system, significantly improving the water-steam quality of the unit and providing the prerequisites for the subsequent aerodynamic field tests and ignition and steam blowing targets. Next, the project department will seize the momentum, strictly manage safety, quality, and environmental protection, focus on project performance, and deepen lean construction and commissioning management. Implementing the spirit of the company's 2026 semi-annual work conference, guided by the conference's deployment as the action plan, and driven by high-standard commissioning control and efficient milestone breakthroughs, the project department will make every effort to achieve the overall goal of unit commissioning.
