en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 19, the 2026 World Robot Conference opened in Beijing under the theme "Human-Robot Symbiosis, Industry-Demand Integration," attracting over 300 enterprises showcasing more than 2,000 exhibits. At this year's conference, the Central SOE Joint Exhibition Area made its debut as a centralized showcase. Under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Norinco Group took the lead in establishing the Central SOE Robot Innovation Consortium, bringing together over 100 entities including central SOEs, universities, research institutes, private enterprises, and industry associations. The consortium simultaneously released the Top 10 Innovation Achievements and Top 10 High-Value Application Scenarios in central SOE robotics, becoming a major highlight of the conference.

It is reported that the Central SOE Joint Exhibition Area is located in Hall C of the conference's Innovation Pavilion, covering an area of 2,333 square meters, bringing together 48 central SOEs and featuring 263 high-quality exhibits. Under the theme "Central SOE Strength, Co-Creating the Future," the exhibition area innovatively sets up four sections: "Full Commitment," "Full-Chain Layout," "Panoramic Applications," and "Comprehensive Collaboration," showcasing in an all-round and systematic manner the core technological breakthroughs, full-industry-chain layout advantages, and full-scenario application achievements of central SOEs in the fields of robotics and embodied intelligence. This fully demonstrates the mission and responsibility of central SOEs in anchoring national strategic priorities, cultivating new quality productive forces, and advancing high-level self-reliance and self-strengthening in the robotics industry.

The participating central SOEs comprehensively showcased their full-chain, multi-dimensional industrial competitiveness, building a complete industrial system spanning basic materials, core components, robot bodies, intelligent algorithms, data infrastructure, and industrialized deployment. They achieved breakthroughs in multiple core hardware and intelligent technologies, opening up the entire pipeline from technology R&D to large-scale application. Using the "Twelve Double-Hours" as a timeline, the exhibition site immersively demonstrated the widespread application of central SOE robots in high-risk, complex real-world scenarios such as deep-space and deep-sea exploration, power and energy supply, intelligent manufacturing, mining and metallurgy, and public services. These applications are deeply embedded in key sectors of the national economy, empowering a wide range of industries and achieving normalized, large-scale deployment. In addition, leveraging the conference's high-end platform, central SOEs actively carried out a series of activities including new product launches, supply-demand matchmaking, contract signings, and industry seminars, building a high-quality ecosystem for technological exchange, achievement transformation, and industrial win-win cooperation, and continuously promoting the coordinated, high-quality development of the robotics industry.

Going forward, central SOEs will continue to anchor themselves in the national strategic landscape, seize the major opportunities presented by the development of the AI and robotics industries, deepen the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, give full play to their "three roles" and strive to be "three pacesetters," and proactively shoulder the responsibility of empowering industrial upgrading and serving the building of a manufacturing powerhouse, a cyber powerhouse, and a digital China. At the same time, they will continue to deepen industry-wide collaboration, relying on the Central SOE Robot Innovation Consortium to conduct joint research on key links, co-develop core technologies, co-expand application scenarios, and share industrial achievements, forming a full-chain layout from basic research to industrial application, and continuously contributing central SOE strength to promoting the high-quality development of the robotics industry both in China and globally.
