Acid Cleaning of Boiler No. 7 Successfully Completed at Huainan Luohe Power Plant Phase IV 2×1000MW Ultra-Supercritical Double Reheat Coal Power Project
en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 7:28 on August 23, the acid cleaning of Boiler No. 7 at the Huainan Luohe Power Plant Phase IV 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical double reheat coal power project, undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. The cleaning effect of the boiler heating surfaces was excellent, with all indicators meeting design standards, laying a favorable foundation for subsequent boiler ignition, steam blowing, and unit overall startup.

The acid cleaning scope covered the core heating surfaces of the boiler proper, including the economizer, water wall system, startup separator, and storage tank. To ensure the safe and high-quality implementation of the acid cleaning work, the project team made early plans and meticulous arrangements, systematically sorting out process nodes and refining task division and control measures. Prior to acid cleaning, preparatory work such as system isolation, temporary pipeline installation, hydrostatic testing, and placement of corrosion indicator coupons was completed in sequence, with comprehensive verification of system integrity and working conditions. Full technical and safety briefings were organized for all personnel, and post responsibilities were firmly established. During the acid cleaning process, unified command and coordinated action were implemented, with strict adherence to the plan standards, a 24-hour duty monitoring system in place, real-time tracking of system operating parameters, and standardized execution of the complete process sequence of flushing, heating, acid cleaning, and passivation, efficiently ensuring the successful completion of the acid cleaning task.
As a key power project under Anhui Province's "14th Five-Year Plan," upon completion, the total installed capacity of Luohe Power Plant will leap from 1,900 MW to 3,900 MW, making it an important power support point for the East China Power Grid, playing a significant role in ensuring regional energy supply and driving local economic development.
