India's GMRC Invites Design Consultancy Tenders for 48.38 km Metro-RRTS Hybrid Corridor

The procurement covers a 48.38 km addition to the network, which needs to be integrated with the existing metro system. The tenders aim to bring in specialized consultancy for route design, systems integration, and coordination with RRTS planning.

The proposed hybrid corridors include: Vakil Bridge Metro Station to Badrabad Metro Station under Phase III B-2, APMC Metro Station to Rakhial Metro Station under Phase III C-1, and Malek Saban Lake Metro Station to Nehru Nagar Metro Station under Phase III C-2. Each corridor connects key urban nodes and provides interchange links between metro and RRTS services. The tender notice outlines technical and commercial requirements for consultants and mandates compliance with statutory approvals and engineering standards. Bidders are required to prepare bid documents covering route studies, station design inputs, and interface arrangements.

The design consultancy scope covers alignment verification, structural and track engineering inputs, systems interfaces, and station planning to ensure seamless cross-modal operations.
