Salute Signs Agreement to Acquire T5 Operations, Expanding Data Center Management to Over 15GW

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 1, Salute, a full-lifecycle data center service provider, announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire T5 Operations, the services business of T5 Data Centers. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, with financial terms not disclosed.

Upon completion of the acquisition, Salute will manage over 15GW of data center capacity, covering more than 150 markets globally, with total headcount increasing to over 3,800 employees. T5 Operations currently manages over 4GW of data center capacity, supporting more than 80 data centers across 22 markets in 9 countries, providing integrated facility management and mission-critical operations services to global hyperscale customers and wholesale data center developers.

T5 Services revenue grew from $87 million in 2021 to $1.7 billion in 2025. As part of T5 Services' strategic restructuring, T5 Construction has been spun off as EverOn Data Center Services effective September 1, 2026, focusing on data center construction. EverOn has completed over 260 construction projects, delivering more than 12 million square feet of data center space across the United States. EverOn and Salute plan to maintain a strategic partnership.

On the management front, T5 Chairman and CEO Pete Marin will join Salute's board of directors, and T5 Operations Executive Vice President David Mettler will join Salute's executive team.

Since receiving a majority equity investment from New Mountain Capital in 2024, Salute has successively acquired UK-based data center consultancy Keysource, ADCC Group, and engineering and sustainability specialist Northshore. Salute CEO Erich Sanchack stated that this acquisition is driven by global demand for AI and high-performance computing facilities.
