en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 3, Colombian geophysical services company Vector Geophysical purchased 30,000 STRYDE Halo-Connect land seismic nodes and a Nimble Receiver System to expand its high-density land seismic data acquisition capabilities in Colombia. The first batch of equipment is planned for use in an oil and gas exploration and development project conducted by Parex Resources in Colombia. This order is the first large-scale Halo-Connect order received by STRYDE since the launch of its new-generation Halo series in June 2026.

Vector Geophysical will deploy the 30,000 Halo-Connect nodes in conjunction with the Nimble Receiver System, enabling field operations teams to complete turnover of up to 3,780 nodes per day. The Halo-Connect node measures 129×41 mm, weighs 183 grams, has a sensing bandwidth of 0.5–200 Hz, and supports continuous recording for more than 50 days. The device integrates wireless communication capabilities, allowing for node status quality control, node positioning, and optional data streaming in the field.

Halo-Connect employs piezoelectric accelerometer sensors and supports wireless node status inspection. According to equipment specifications published by STRYDE, every 10 consecutive days of data recording corresponds to approximately 1 hour of charging and data retrieval time. The Nimble system can manage up to 30,000 STRYDE nodes and is configured with up to 6 node charging and data retrieval units.

Vector Geophysical also plans to integrate the STRYDE Lens field data processing system with the Nimble hardware. This system enables remote processing personnel to process data synchronously during seismic data acquisition, allowing field teams to access near-real-time data quality and subsurface information, as well as to verify acquisition quality.
