Suzlon Secures 200 MW Wind EPC Order from Ayana

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 8, Suzlon Energy received an order from Ayana Renewable Power for a 200 MW wind power project, involving the construction of 64 S144 wind turbines at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh, India, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. Suzlon is responsible for the complete EPC scope of the project, including turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant works, pooling substation, extra high voltage transmission lines, commissioning, and subsequent operations and maintenance. The power generated upon project completion will be fed into the state grid of Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company (MPPMCL).

This marks Suzlon's first wind power order from Ayana Renewable Power and its third wind project order secured through the DevCo model, with related projects located in Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. With the addition of this 200 MW order, cumulative sales of Suzlon's S144 3.x MW platform have surpassed 10 GW.

The S144 turbines deployed for the Limbawas project belong to Suzlon's 3.x MW onshore wind platform. This batch of 64 units is configured at 3.15 MW each, corresponding to a total installed capacity of approximately 200 MW. In addition to turbine supply, Suzlon is also responsible for project land, BoP works, pooling substation, and EHV transmission line construction, as well as operations and maintenance after the turbines are commissioned.

Suzlon previously secured a 250 MW wind power order from Torrent Green Energy on August 25, involving 76 S144 turbines with a rated capacity of 3.3 MW each, including grid connection and long-term O&M services. The current Ayana order continues with the S144 platform, but the per-turbine configuration has been adjusted to 3.15 MW.
