Dior Opens 7,200-Square-Meter Middle East Regional Distribution Center in Dubai South
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dubai South held an opening ceremony at the EZDubai Logistics Hub to officially inaugurate Dior's Middle East regional distribution center.
The center spans two floors with an area of 7,200 square meters and supports Dior's business operations in the Middle East, handling inventory management, order fulfillment and boutique replenishment, while also supporting Dior's growing e-commerce business in the UAE. By positioning inventory closer to regional markets, the regional distribution center will improve product availability and accelerate replenishment across Dior's boutique network, enabling a more responsive approach to customer demand and delivering a smoother, more consistent customer experience.
Attending the opening ceremony were HE Khalifa Alzaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South; Nabil Alkindi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai South Group; Mohsen Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of the EZDubai Logistics Hub; Pierre De Maigret, President of Dior Middle East; Anne Borde, Global Supply Chain and Logistics Director at Dior; Eymeric Joussen, Head of Supply Chain and Logistics at Dior Middle East; and other senior executives from both sides.
Nabil Alkindi said he welcomed Dior's regional distribution center to Dubai South, noting that Dior's establishment reflects the continued choice of international companies to use Dubai as a strategic base for regional operations. Dubai South's role is to provide an integrated, efficient environment that helps businesses optimize supply chains, enhance connectivity with key markets and support long-term growth. Dubai South looks forward to supporting Dior's operations and business objectives in the Middle East.
The facility is designed with sustainability at the core of its operations and has obtained LEED Gold certification. Dior's facilities and supply chain teams are implementing a range of measures to reduce the environmental impact of logistics activities, including optimizing transport flows, eliminating single-use plastics in packaging, and increasing the use of sea freight wherever possible. In the UAE, Dior has also deployed electric vehicles for last-mile delivery to support more sustainable logistics operations while maintaining the service levels required by its regional network.
The EZDubai Logistics Hub provides businesses with access to Jebel Ali Port through a bonded logistics corridor and is adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport, enabling efficient multimodal transport across air, sea and road. The zone offers a range of infrastructure and services to support businesses in logistics, e-commerce, retail and other industries in expanding their regional and international operations.
