Wildberries Tests WB Taxi Ride-Hailing Service in Armenia

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 22, Wildberries' WB Taxi launched early testing in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, with the first phase open by invitation to Wildberries employees and partners. General users can currently download the WB Taxi app via Google Play and the App Store and apply to join the waitlist, and the platform plans to gradually expand service availability over the coming weeks. Armenia thus becomes the fourth national market entered by WB Taxi.

WB Taxi offers three service tiers in Yerevan: "Standard," "Comfort," and "Multi." The Multi mode can search multiple vehicle categories simultaneously to shorten vehicle matching and waiting times. The platform has also set up a points system for passengers: users earn reward points after paying fares via bank cards in the app, new registered users receive 1,500 points, and 1 point is calculated at 1 Armenian dram, which can later be used to offset ride costs.

On the driver side, WB Taxi currently offers lower platform commissions, regular settlements, and an additional income mechanism upon meeting platform conditions. Feedback from the first batch of users will be used to test app stability, dispatch processes, and the passenger-side experience, and after early validation is completed, the service will gradually expand to a broader user base.

WB Taxi previously operated in Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan. Public information shows that the service began expanding into multiple CIS and neighboring markets in mid-2025; although app downloads are currently available in the Russian market, it is still mainly used for platform technical testing and product optimization, and has not yet fully operated under the model of a mature commercial ride-hailing market.
