CLAAS Next-Generation Tractors Showcased in Canada with Up to 450 HP

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 25, German agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS showcased its next-generation ARION 6, AXION 8, and AXION 9 tractors at Canada's Outdoor Farm Show held in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. These three series were previously launched for the North American market, and this event marked an important concentrated showcase in the Canadian market. The products cover a power range of 165–450 HP and are designed for applications including livestock farming, mixed farming, tillage, seeding, grain transport, and large farm operations.

Among them, the ARION 6 CMATIC covers 165–205 HP and is primarily suited for livestock, forage, and mixed farms. It features CLAAS's proprietary CMATIC continuously variable transmission and is equipped with front axle suspension and dynamic steering. The AXION 8 CMATIC covers 240–313 HP and is mainly used for seeding, tillage, grain cart hauling, and silage operations. Its hydraulic system reaches a maximum flow of 205 L/min, and its rear hitch lift capacity exceeds 9,980 kg.

Positioned in the higher power segment, the AXION 9 CMATIC comprises 7 models with a power range of 330–450 HP. It is equipped with an 8.7-liter engine, achieves a maximum hydraulic flow of 370 L/min, and has a rear hitch lift capacity of nearly 11,340 kg. This series will also offer a half-track version for the North American market to meet the demands of heavy-duty hauling and operation under complex ground conditions on large farms.

The new generation products have also been upgraded in terms of cab and intelligent control systems. The cab space has been further expanded and features a four-point suspension design; a second 12-inch touchscreen is available as an option, while ISOBUS integration enhances implement connectivity. The lighting system can be configured with up to 22 LED work lights, with a total luminous flux of up to 56,000 lumens. CLAAS states that orders are now open in the North American market, with some pre-ordered vehicles scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026, and most orders expected to be delivered successively from January to February 2027.
