India's S.K. Offset Plans to Raise Rs 291 Million to Expand Printing and Packaging Business

Offset Limited launched its initial public offering, planning to issue up to 2.325 million new shares at a price range of Rs 119–125 per share, raising approximately Rs 290.6 million at the upper price limit. The proceeds will be mainly used to purchase plant and production equipment, supplement working capital, and for general corporate purposes. The company plans to use this financing to further expand its packaging printing and label manufacturing business.
According to the fundraising plan, S.K. Offset intends to invest approximately Rs 21.1 million to purchase plant and machinery at its production base in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and another approximately Rs 186.6 million to supplement working capital. The new equipment will be used to strengthen the existing printing, packaging, and label production systems, improve order-taking and production turnover capacity, and provide manufacturing capability support for the expansion of the packaging products business.
S.K. Offset was founded in 2007 and currently operates multiple production facilities in Meerut. Its business covers offset printing, commercial printing, packaging cartons, labels, and other printed products, serving customers in sectors such as fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, education, publishing, and consumer goods. As end customers' demand for branded packaging, product labels, and customized printing increases, the company has continued to expand the proportion of its packaging and label business in recent years, and has improved product processing precision and production efficiency through equipment upgrades.
The packaging and label business has high requirements for equipment automation, printing precision, order changeover efficiency, and delivery cycles. The simultaneous advancement of this equipment procurement and working capital supplement will help the company expand production capacity while increasing raw material procurement and order turnover space, and further take on packaging printing demand from fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods customers.
After the completion of this IPO, S.K. Offset's capital investment focus will remain on expanding its existing manufacturing systems and enhancing operational capacity. With the growth of packaging demand in India's food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and consumer goods industries, packaging cartons, labels, and customized printing have become important directions for local printing companies to expand production, and equipment procurement and production line upgrades will continue to drive demand for printing machinery, packaging equipment, and supporting materials.
