China's First 100-kW Wind-Solar Hydrogen Production, Storage and Power Generation System Delivered to Xuji Group
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Xi'an 1908 New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. completed the delivery of China's first 100-kW integrated "wind/solar power generation—hydrogen production—hydrogen storage—hydrogen release—power generation" system at the Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy Quality Technology Innovation Base. The recipient is Xuji Group under China Electrical Equipment Group. The system integrates renewable energy power generation, electrolytic hydrogen production, solid-state hydrogen storage, controllable hydrogen release and fuel cell power generation into a single technical system, equipped with 300 kW hydrogen fuel cell power generation equipment, targeting application scenarios such as zero-carbon parks, zero-carbon factories and long-duration energy storage.
The system adopts a skid-mounted integrated design and can connect to green electricity from wind power, photovoltaic and other sources. After hydrogen production is completed, hydrogen is stored in solid-state hydrogen storage materials and continuously released to drive fuel cell power generation according to energy demand. Compared with standalone hydrogen production or hydrogen storage equipment, the system integrates hydrogen production, storage and re-power generation into a unified configuration, and features automatic feeding and continuous operation capabilities, making it suitable for converting surplus renewable energy electricity and cross-period energy regulation.
Xi'an 1908 New Energy has long focused on room-temperature and ambient-pressure metal-based solid-state hydrogen storage technology. Relying on original achievements from Xi'an Jiaotong University, the company has developed graphene-composite metal hydride hydrogen storage materials and has built a pilot production line with an annual output of 30 tons of sodium-calcium-based and aluminum-sodium-based composite hydrogen storage materials. It previously also developed China's first 5-kW room-temperature and ambient-pressure solid-state hydrogen emergency power supply for the power system, and the related technology has been further expanded from low-power emergency power supply to 100-kW multi-energy coupling systems.
Xuji Group is affiliated with China Electrical Equipment Group, with business covering power system protection and control, new energy, power electronics and energy storage. After the delivery of this system, solid-state hydrogen storage technology will further enter the application stage of power equipment, providing a new system integration pathway for wind and solar power fluctuation regulation, long-duration energy storage and distributed green energy supply.
