French manufacturer PICHON launches SV10R and SV14 slurry tankers

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 25, French agricultural equipment manufacturer PICHON expanded its SV series slurry tanker product line with the addition of the SV10R and SV14 models, featuring tank capacities of 10,500 liters and 14,500 liters respectively, primarily targeting hilly and mountainous areas as well as operating environments with limited road and farm access space. The two products fill the capacity gaps between the SV8R and SV12R, and between the SV13 and SV16, respectively, and continue to adopt the SV series' configurable and subsequently upgradable product architecture.

The SV10R features a more compact body design with a wheelbase of 5.3 meters, 1 meter shorter than the SV12R, with a choice of 1.80-meter and 2.15-meter track widths, and can be fitted with tires up to 38 inches. Depending on the certification configuration, this model can be equipped with the TSB1 trailing shoe fertilizer applicator, the 12-meter TSB2 trailing shoe fertilizer applicator, and the 9-meter DHB1 dribble bar fertilizer applicator. The SV10R has obtained certification for the French and European markets and is equipped with a new H2L dual-line braking system, with a focus on narrow roads, farmyards, and sloping terrain transport and fertilization operations.

The SV14 features a 14,500-liter tank and is positioned for farms and agricultural machinery cooperatives that require medium loading capacity but still use medium-power tractors. PICHON discloses that this model can be paired with tractors under 150 horsepower and offers three tank configurations depending on the filling method, with a choice of BP2 filling arm, submerged filling arm, or turret filling arm. The chassis adopts a BPW tandem twin-axle structure, shared in part with the SV13 and SV16 chassis solutions, and uses the same tank diameter as the SV16.

On the field application side, the SV14 can be equipped, depending on the certification configuration, with the TSB trailing shoe fertilizer application system, the DHB dribble bar fertilizer application system, IDs disc injectors, and the CTf soil incorporation device, with the same tanker platform covering different operation methods including transport, surface band application, soil injection, and incorporation. PICHON is also updating the entire SV series, including a unified level gauge, the addition of MITAS tires, and an optional side-mounted accelerated filling device; the side-mounted filling device can be installed on the left or right side of the vehicle according to operational requirements.
