Wedoany.com Report-Jul. 6, Turkcell, Türkiye’s leading telecommunications and technology provider, has continued its long-term collaboration with A10 Networks to strengthen its network infrastructure through advanced software solutions. This partnership, established over several years, focuses on enhancing carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT) systems with integrated security, supporting Turkcell’s high-performance architecture while ensuring scalability, reliability, and protection against cyber threats.

In 2025, Turkcell is advancing its strategic digital transformation by virtualizing its network infrastructure. With support from A10 Networks, the company is implementing software-defined CGNAT services alongside Gi-firewall features and integrated DDoS protection. This shift aims to build a flexible, efficient digital ecosystem while reducing dependency on physical infrastructure.

Despite a global shortage of IPv4 addresses, Turkcell has successfully scaled its network to meet the demands of a growing subscriber base and the rising number of connected devices. Through the deployment of A10 Thunder® software solutions, the operator continues to extend IPv4 capabilities and accelerate the transition to IPv6. This approach ensures sustained service quality and aligns the infrastructure with requirements for 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Turkcell’s move toward virtualization is also driven by the need for agility and operational efficiency. By utilizing A10’s scale-out architecture, the company can adjust its services in real time to accommodate traffic fluctuations and subscriber growth. This dynamic capability ensures uninterrupted service delivery while preparing the network for future high-performance needs.

A10’s advanced telemetry tools and real-time monitoring functions provide Turkcell with detailed visibility into network operations. These features allow for swift detection and resolution of issues, simplify operations, and significantly lower operating expenses by reducing manual intervention. Additionally, the transition to a software-based platform helps minimize energy consumption, maintenance costs, and physical space requirements.

Prof. Dr. Vehbi Çağrı Güngör, Turkcell’s Chief Technology Officer, stated: “Our collaboration with A10 Networks enables us to respond effectively to the evolving needs of our subscribers, achieving one of the highest virtualization rates globally along with significant gains in operational efficiency, cost optimization, and network performance.”

Dhrupad Trivedi, CEO of A10 Networks, added: “Our long-standing relationship with Turkcell underscores our commitment to delivering world-class software-based security and infrastructure solutions.”

As the telecommunications sector adapts to rapid technological changes, Turkcell’s efforts to virtualize its network infrastructure represent a significant step toward future-ready connectivity. Through its partnership with A10 Networks, Turkcell is building a scalable and secure platform capable of meeting modern digital demands while supporting the growth of advanced technologies across Türkiye.
