en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 26, U.S. agricultural machinery manufacturer AGCO Corporation announced that its Massey Ferguson brand has launched a new hydraulic Singulation Chute for the MF SB.1436DB small square baler. The device arranges the two bales simultaneously discharged by the baler into a single row one after another, reducing the number of round trips required for subsequent bale collection operations. AGCO stated that compared with the existing dual-row discharge chute, the new device can reduce collection round trips by up to 50%, and is primarily aimed at commercial hay production operations.

The MF SB.1436DB baler can simultaneously produce two small square bales with cross-section dimensions of 14 inches × 18 inches. The accompanying chute uses a hydraulic mechanism to control the discharge sequence of the bales on both sides, first pushing one bale forward and then delivering the other, so that the bales are arranged along the same straight line. Adjustable baffles are provided within the chute to adjust the conveying action and the bale discharge timing on both sides according to different bale lengths.

The new device connects to the baler's existing hydraulic pump and requires only one additional hydraulic hose from the tractor to control the raising and lowering of the chute. Its trailing structure adopts caster wheels and a suspension system, allowing it to move with the baler and adapt to field ground undulations. During transport, operators can raise and lock the chute via the hydraulic system; during maintenance, the same lifting structure can be used to access the underside of the equipment, and the spliced conveyor belt facilitates inspection and replacement. The trailing structure design is currently patent pending.

The new Singulation Chute is now available on the 2027 model MF SB.1436DB two-channel baler for commercial hay production users.
