Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) of the UAE Completes Phase 1 Development of Hedebah Gas Field
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 27, Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) of the UAE completed the Phase 1 development of the Hedebah gas condensate field, with all works including appraisal well drilling, gas gathering facility construction, pipeline laying, and facility commissioning fully completed. The field is located northeast of the Sajaa gas field in the Emirate of Sharjah and has achieved gas production, driving SNOC's current natural gas output to more than double its previous level.

The Hedebah gas field was discovered in May 2024, and SNOC achieved first gas production in less than one year after discovery by accelerating appraisal drilling and development works. Subsequent appraisal work confirmed that the gas reservoir has good reservoir quality and pressure characteristics, and the well cluster production performance is in line with the company's development expectations. During the Phase 1 construction, the project team overcame challenges such as regional shipping disruptions and limited supply of equipment and materials, and completed the construction of gathering and supporting facilities.
SNOC has initiated preparations for the next phase of development, planning to further increase natural gas production from the Hedebah gas field in 2027 and reach a stable production level in 2028.
