en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 29, Canada's NorthWest Copper released the latest drilling results from the western mineralized zone of its Kwanika copper-gold project in British Columbia. Drill hole K-26-260 intersected a 73.9-meter mineralized interval at a depth of 457 meters, grading 0.51% copper and 0.79 g/t gold, for a copper equivalent grade of 1.39%; within this interval, a 25.9-meter section graded 2.19% copper equivalent and 1.58 g/t gold.

The hole was completed at a depth of 675 meters and intersected a further 74.8-meter mineralized interval between 600.2 meters and 675 meters, grading 0.23% copper and 0.49 g/t gold, for a copper equivalent grade of 0.78%. A 39-meter section from 632 meters to 671 meters within this interval was classified as a primary porphyry copper-gold mineralization unit, with a palladium grade of 0.08 g/t. Mineralization remains present at the hole's terminus at 675 meters.

Of the two other holes in this batch, hole K-26-258 intersected a 10.9-meter mineralized interval from a depth of 406.2 meters, grading 0.33% copper and 0.62 g/t gold, for a copper equivalent grade of 1.01%. The hole also encountered a 41-meter deep mineralized interval between 604.2 meters and 645.2 meters, grading 0.60% copper equivalent, and extended part of the known mineralized zone approximately 50 meters up-dip. Hole K-26-256 was terminated at a depth of 513 meters due to complex formation conditions and drilling difficulties, without reaching the targeted mineralization depth.

The assay results from the three holes refine the geological model of the Unit 2 mineralization unit in the western mineralized zone and reduce drill hole spacing to approximately 50 meters in some target areas. Hole K-26-260 also intersected primary porphyry copper-gold mineralization with associated palladium below the existing resource envelope, supplementing deep mineralization data for the area.

NorthWest Copper's 2026 exploration program has completed 43 drill holes totaling 12,291 meters. As of October 29, the company has released assay results for 17 of these holes, with all results from the current round of drilling in the western mineralized zone now published; the remaining 26 holes are located in the northern open-pit extension area, where assay work is still ongoing.
