H.E. Mr. Krishna Prasad Oli, Ambassador of Nepal to China, has confirmed his attendance at the 15th China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR) which is scheduled to take place on September 17-19th at the National Convention Center in Beijing. This platform will facilitate deeper China-Nepal economic and trade cooperation and shared development opportunities.

Nepal, possesses abundant natural resources including 83,000 MW of hydropower potential and exceptional tourism assets like Mount Qomolangma (Everest) and 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites. The Nepalese government has actively enhanced its investment climate, prioritizing hydropower, transportation infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, and mining development to attract foreign capital. As a key neighbor, Nepal maintains robust economic ties with China, with significant cooperation achievements in energy, infrastructure, and aviation.

Through the COIFAIR platform, the CODA will collaborate with member enterprises to advance bilateral investment and trade, generating fresh impetus for mutual prosperity.
