Wedoany.com Report-Aug. 22, Meta has announced the launch of its new data centre campus in Kansas City, Missouri, marking a significant milestone for the company’s infrastructure expansion in the region. The development, which represents an investment of more than $1 billion, is expected to create lasting economic benefits and long-term employment opportunities.

During construction, the site employed an average of 1,500 skilled workers at peak activity. Once fully operational, the facility will support over 100 permanent jobs across operations and management. Alongside the data centre build, Meta has committed to supporting the local community, contributing more than $1 million to schools and non-profit organisations in Clay County, Platte County and Kansas City.
