en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 14, equipment manufacturer EDGE Innovate announced that Irish aggregates producer Hudson Brothers has put the SCREENPRO S16 tracked mobile screener into operation at Philipstown Quarry in County Wicklow for pre-screening ahead of sand and gravel aggregate washing. Supplied by local dealer KM Plant Hire & Sales, the unit features a double-deck vibrating screen box with a maximum designed throughput of 600 t/h and is primarily responsible for material classification and feeding downstream washing equipment.

The SCREENPRO S16 is equipped with a 4.9 m long and 1.5 m wide double-deck screen box, providing an effective screening area of approximately 14 m², with the screen deck angle adjustable between 14 and 20 degrees. The equipment supports various screening media including woven mesh, perforated plate, grizzly bars and finger screens. The upper deck features a modular structure that allows different screening media to be combined and installed, and can be configured for two-way or three-way material separation according to operational requirements.

The equipment is powered by a CAT C3.6 diesel engine compliant with Stage V emission standards, with dual-power and electric hybrid configurations also available. The remote control system has a maximum operating range of 100 m and can control functions such as track movement and hydraulic stabilizer legs. The screen box is fitted with a hydraulic lifting mechanism, the conveyors feature a folding design, and the engine air filter, fuel filter and oil filter are all provided with access for maintenance.

Hudson Brothers produces crushed stone, washed aggregates and construction sand at Philipstown Quarry, with finished products covering 10 mm, 20 mm and 40 mm pebbles, as well as plastering sand, masonry sand and paving sand. The quarry is equipped with a materials testing laboratory that conducts sieve analysis and compaction testing on aggregates. The Environmental Product Declarations for its rock and gravel aggregate products have been verified in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards and are valid until April 2030.
