SK Telecom Appoints Jeong Jae-Heon as CEO to Strengthen AI Governance & Cyber Security

Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 1, SK Telecom (SKT) announced on October 30th the appointment of Jaeheon Jeong as its new CEO. Jeong, a lawyer by training, joined SKT in 2020 as Head of the Legal Group and has since held several key positions within SK Group and its affiliates.

As a founding member of SK Square in 2021, Jeong served as Head of the Investment Support Center, overseeing critical departments including strategy, legal affairs, and finance. Since 2024, he has held the role of President of External Cooperation at SKT, managing ESG, corporate responsibility, and public relations functions. He also serves as Chairman of the Governance Committee of the SUPEX Pursuit Council, SK Group’s highest decision-making body, where he has been responsible for advancing group-wide management systems.
