Wedoany.com Report-Dec.29, Canadian mineral exploration company Naughty Ventures recently announced that it has acquired the rights to a land parcel of approximately 7,207 hectares in Quebec. This land is adjacent to the Cisco Lithium Project being advanced by Q2 Metals, with the aim of expanding its footprint in the lithium exploration sector of the James Bay region.
Q2 Metals recently provided an update on the exploration progress of its Cisco Lithium Project. Based on data from 40 drill holes, the project has established an exploration target with an estimated lithium oxide content ranging between 215 million and 329 million tonnes. The company plans to complete a resource estimate for the project in the first quarter of 2026. Currently, Q2 Metals is applying for permits to construct a road to the main mineralized zone and plans to conduct infill drilling and a preliminary economic assessment during the fall and winter seasons.
This land acquisition by Naughty Ventures enhances its influence in the area surrounding the Cisco Lithium Project. The region is located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay area, which has seen active lithium exploration activities. As an exploration company focused on early-stage projects, this land increase is part of Naughty Ventures' strategic positioning around the promising Cisco Lithium Project.
