Wedoany.com Report-Dec.30, On December 28 local time, the Ghana Gold Mine Project Department of the Foreign Company successfully completed the handover of 266 volumes of engineering documents across four major disciplines: mechanical installation, structure, piping, and electrical, laying a solid foundation for the project's final settlement.

The Ghana Gold Mine Project follows the European standard acceptance mode, which imposes extremely high requirements on the coverage, depth, and traceability of documentation. The composition of document packages for each discipline is complex, with the core requirement being "planned, recorded, and traceable." The project department established a principle of "synchronization with construction and supporting quality evidence." During construction, technical personnel from all disciplines closely coordinated to promptly collect process documents. During the compilation stage, the engineering and quality departments systematically organized the files against specifications and checklists, building a solid documentary foundation.

During the document review phase, the project department went all out. For the preparation of as-built drawings, technicians incorporated design changes into the drawings. To address on-site process optimizations, they organized personnel to conduct "walk-through" verifications of 28 major piping systems one by one over several months, ensuring the drawings matched the actual installations. Piping technicians drew up 28 sets of welding detail drawings, achieving complete traceability of welding documentation. The compiled documents underwent multiple rounds of rigorous review by the local quality team and the client's engineering team. The project department actively communicated and responded promptly to ensure the documents could withstand scrutiny.

After the documents passed review, the project department performed high-quality scanning of the 266 volumes of paper documents. They checked the clarity, completeness, and consistency of the electronic files, standardized the naming, and archived them to form an electronic document library. From November to December, they efficiently completed the scanning, verification, and organization, successfully passing the client's final review and formally handing over the documents.

This work was not merely an engineering task but also a deep practice of the quality management system for international engineering projects. The project department gained a more profound understanding of the documentation logic, traceability requirements under European standards, and the local acceptance process. It honed a technical team familiar with international standards and adept at meticulous management, accumulating valuable experience for undertaking similar projects in the future.
