The company will be responsible for the full lifecycle maintenance of 400kV and below high-voltage XLPE power cables in the southern and central regions of the country.

According to the contract, the cable maintenance project will cover the critical power grids in Kuwait's southern industrial zone and central urban clusters. The scope of work includes preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and intelligent upgrades for high-voltage cables. The project plans to adopt an integrated "inspection-diagnosis-repair" model and introduce relevant technical systems, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and fault warning capabilities. In response to local environmental characteristics such as high temperatures and sandstorms, China Cable Engineering Co., Ltd. stated that it will optimize technical solutions to improve the operational stability of the power grid under harsh conditions.
