Recently, with the last truckload of quarry stone arriving smoothly at the construction site, the key highway construction project in Kazakhstan has successfully completed its winter stockpiling task. This stockpiling effort overcame extreme weather and transportation challenges, accumulating approximately 290,000 tons of quarry stone and various specifications of crushed stone transported, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the 2026 construction season.

Since the onset of winter, temperatures at the project site have plummeted, with frequent severe weather conditions such as snowfall and ice, posing serious challenges to quarry stone transportation and on-site safety management. The project department formulated a winter construction plan in advance, strictly implemented safety measures such as anti-skid and anti-fatigue measures, and ensured transportation safety by strengthening process control. During the stockpiling period, the project department rigorously enforced vehicle inspections, driver safety education, and on-site duty systems, conducted dynamic patrols of transportation routes and critical time periods, and promptly eliminated safety hazards. During the peak transportation period, daily trips reached 263, with a maximum daily transportation volume of approximately 13,200 tons, ultimately exceeding the stockpiling target.

The successful completion of this winter stockpiling work for the highway construction project effectively guarantees the reserve of key construction materials, provides strong support for the 2026 construction season, and creates favorable conditions for the project to proceed on schedule and achieve full compliance.
