Wedoany.com Report on Feb 2nd, The Nordex SE Group has recently made new progress in wind power projects in France, Belgium, and Portugal, securing orders for a total of 15 projects. These involve 78 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 414 MW.
The delivery of turbines for these wind power projects is scheduled for 2027 and will utilize several Nordex SE product models, including the N117/3600, N131/3600, N149/5.X, N163/5.X, N163/6.X, and N175/6.X series. The turbine hub heights range from 76 meters to 134 meters to enhance power generation efficiency.
Each contract includes long-term service and maintenance agreements to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the equipment. These orders further strengthen Nordex SE 's business presence in the French-speaking European region and the Portuguese wind power market.
The Nordex SE Group has cumulatively installed approximately 57 GW of wind power equipment in over 40 countries worldwide, with consolidated sales reaching around €7.3 billion in 2024. The company employs over 10,400 people and operates production facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, the United States, and Mexico, primarily offering onshore wind turbines in the 4 to over 7 MW class.
