Based on proven modular drilling technology, the new replaceable head drill holders support rapid drill bit changes while ensuring machining accuracy and performance stability, providing manufacturers with more efficient tooling solutions.

Following this expansion, the WINDRILL system now offers a complete drilling diameter range from 10 mm to 20.9 mm. The 2xD replaceable head drill holder covers diameters from 10-15.9 mm, suitable for standard deep hole requirements; the 4xD replaceable head drill version supports the same diameter range but features a longer machining distance, meeting the needs of operations in confined spaces. The original 3xD series has been optimized, extending its diameter range to 6-20.9 mm, reducing the flange diameter from 25 mm to 19 mm, increasing the effective cutting length, while maintaining rigidity for high-precision machining scenarios.

Modular structure is the core advantage of the WINDRILL system. All holders utilize an M12 threaded connection, fully compatible with existing T-FLEXTEC toolholders, enabling seamless integration. The quick-change head design significantly reduces non-productive time and ensures performance repeatability across different diameters. Furthermore, the system is suitable for a variety of workpieces including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys. TaeguTec also provides cutting parameter guidelines, recommending a speed range of 20-220 m/min, which can be flexibly adjusted based on material hardness.
