SK Telecom plans to highlight its end-to-end artificial intelligence strategy at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2026), held in Barcelona from March 2nd to 5th, 2026. This strategy covers AI infrastructure, foundational models, AI-driven services, and governance, aiming to drive AI innovation based on telecommunications networks and demonstrate how AI can transform telecom operations.

In the field of AI infrastructure, SK Telecom will present the specialized capabilities of its AI Data Center (AIDC), introducing the AIDC Infrastructure Manager. This is an intelligent platform that integrates diverse operational data for real-time monitoring and performance enhancement. The company will also showcase its integrated GPU-as-a-Service offering, combining Petasus AI Cloud, AI Cloud Manager, and the GAIA system to meet enterprise demand for scalable AI computing. Addressing the industry shift towards inference-driven computing, SK Telecom will introduce its next-generation AI Inference Factory, designed to overcome the cost, power, and memory limitations of traditional AI data centers.

Regarding AI-driven network evolution, SK Telecom will demonstrate AI agents for automated network operations, AI-RAN technology, on-device AI antenna optimization, and Integrated Sensing and Communication technology, providing a preview of autonomous networks and 6G infrastructure. In the marketing domain, it will showcase agent AI services to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

A key highlight will be a live demonstration of the A.X K1 model. This is Korea's first ultra-large-scale AI model with 519 billion parameters, which has entered the second phase of a government-led sovereign AI foundational model project, strengthening SK Telecom's role in AI development. Visitors can also explore its open-source models under the A.X language model brand to strengthen the AI ecosystem.

For physical AI applications, SK Telecom will launch a digital twin platform, a robot training platform, and the SynapsEgo vision solution to support real-world automation. The booth will also feature AI-driven services like A.phone and CareVia, as well as an AI asset screening system and health robots.

In the section on AI governance and global cooperation, SK Telecom will present its AI governance framework "T.H.E. AI," designed to align with global AI regulations and ethical standards. The company will also collaborate with innovative Korean AI companies to expand partnerships, particularly in AI infrastructure and sovereign AI models.
