German e-commerce logistics service provider Agorando Technologies GmbH has commissioned Fives Intralogistics to modernize its existing fulfillment center in Leipzig, with a focus on introducing warehouse robotics. This deployment, scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, will be implemented without interrupting operations, aiming to enhance warehouse automation levels. Approximately 75% of the operations will utilize a "goods-to-person" system based on Autonomous Mobile Warehouse Robots (AMRs) from the Israeli company Caja, a long-term partner of Fives. Fives will be responsible for integrating the entire ecosystem, including conveyors, packaging systems, and control software, to achieve end-to-end logistics automation.

Agorando CEO Frank Schulze stated: "We chose Fives for its unique 'one-stop-shop' approach. We didn't just need warehouse robots; we needed a partner capable of providing the entire ecosystem: conveyors, software, and warehouse robotics, all in one. Fives' ability to deliver an end-to-end solution within our existing environment gave us confidence that we had found a partner who truly understands our operational needs." This warehouse robotization project is expected to optimize Agorando's logistics efficiency, supporting its service to brands such as Ravensburger, Sheepworld, and Moleskine, thereby further solidifying its competitiveness in the e-commerce logistics sector.
