Basic Working Principle:

By applying a DC excitation current, the magnetic resistance of the iron core is changed, thereby achieving the purpose of adjusting the reactance value of the arc suppression coil. It can adjust the inductance value with high voltage and high speed. During normal grid operation, no excitation current is applied, and the arc suppression coil is adjusted to a state far from the resonance point to avoid series resonance overvoltage and various possible resonance overvoltages, without the need for damping resistors. It also detects the capacitive current in real time. When a single-phase ground fault occurs in the grid, the arc suppression coil is instantly adjusted to achieve optimal compensation.
