Product Introduction

Amorphous alloy core transformer is a transformer made with a core of new magnetically conductive material—amorphous alloy. Compared to traditional silicon steel core transformers, it reduces no-load loss (the power loss measured at the primary when the secondary is open-circuited) by about 75%, and no-load current (the current still present in the primary when the secondary is open-circuited, referred to as no-load current) by 80%. This significantly lowers the operating cost of the transformer, making it currently one of the most ideal energy-saving distribution transformers, especially significant in today's promotion of a resource-saving society.

Product Features

(1)Strong Short-circuit Resistance: Due to the material properties of the resin and the fact that the windings are integrally cast and cured by heating to form a rigid body, the mechanical strength is very high. Tests with sudden short circuits have proven that cast dry-type transformers are rarely damaged due to short circuits.

(2)Outstanding Disaster Prevention Performance: Epoxy resin is flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, and does not cause secondary disasters such as explosions.

(3)Superior Environmental Performance: Epoxy resin is an extremely chemically stable material with excellent moisture and dust resistance. It can operate normally at 100% air humidity, and after shutdown, it can be put back into operation without drying.

(4)Significant Energy-saving Effect: Due to the superior magnetic conductivity of amorphous alloy materials, it is easier to magnetize or demagnetize with minimal energy consumption. Therefore, the no-load loss of amorphous alloy core transformers is much lower than that of traditional transformers. It reduces no-load loss by 60%-80% compared to transformers with silicon steel cores, making it currently one of the most ideal energy-saving distribution transformers, particularly suitable for areas with low load rates such as urban and rural power grids and developing regions.

(5)Strong Environmental Benefits: Amorphous alloy core transformers have significant energy-saving effects, saving large amounts of power generation fuel and reducing air pollution. Amorphous alloy core transformers are known as “green power plants without generators.”

(6)Low Comprehensive Operating Cost: Due to the use of new raw materials and new technologies, the process is complex, so the product price is higher than that of traditional transformers. However, due to its significant energy-saving effect, low operating loss, low partial discharge, and high operating efficiency, its comprehensive cost is lower than that of traditional transformers.
