In accordance with the national "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" strategic requirements and market demand, Shaanxi Diesel Heavy Industry has developed the medium-speed high-power SXD40/52 series engine with independent intellectual property rights. The SXD40/52 power platform can adapt to fuels such as gas, diesel, methanol, and ammonia in the future, meeting the requirements of low-carbon, zero-carbon, and diversified fuels for engines.
The SXD6L40/52G gas engine adopts technologies such as homogeneous gas mixing, lean burn, Miller cycle, high boost ratio, and active pre-chamber ignition. It is equipped with crankcase explosion-proof valves, intake and exhaust system explosion-proof valves, crank pin/main bearing temperature, oil mist concentration, knock and other monitoring devices, as well as a fully functional safety system. NOx emissions meet Tier III requirements, and the measured effective thermal efficiency of the whole machine exceeds 43%. The fuel economy reaches the leading domestic and internationally advanced level of similar technical routes. The engine can use natural gas, semi-coke gas, gas, coke oven tail gas and other low calorific value gases, and is suitable for land power stations, ship power generation and propulsion and other market fields.
