During the seawater cooling process, a large number of marine fouling organisms are killed. The remains of these marine organisms, under the impact and stirring of large-flow seawater, eventually form a large amount of stable and difficult-to-dissipate foam (mainly protein-based) on the sea surface, causing apparent pollution of the marine water environment. Defoamers can achieve rapid elimination of foam in seawater cooling discharge by reducing local surface tension and other principles. Only food-grade polyether defoamers used for seawater desalination water production are allowed to be added to the circulating water discharge. The defoamer can be used in conjunction with existing seawater desalination scale inhibitors.
This product has been applied in a power enterprise in Cangzhou, Hebei. It uses environmentally friendly defoamers and dosing control systems to effectively control foam at the discharge outlet, with obvious results.
